A pair of Ashanti Stools.

These are Ashanti stools (or asesedwa), traditional hand-carved wooden stools originating from the Ashanti people (Akan) of Ghana, West Africa. 

Each stool is typically carved from a single block of wood and features a distinctive crescent-shaped seat resting on a central support (in this case, a 'wisdom knot' or similar abstract design) and a rectangular base.
